Dine out this summer with a picnic hamper prepared by One Aldwych. Packed with delicious food from the British coastline, fields and farms, they are the ideal accompaniment to the open air theatre, a sporting event or simply an urban picnic in the park. 

 

Picnic Menu - £30 per person

All picnics come with the following:

 

Selection of breads

Olive oil and balsamic vinegar mixed for dipping

Crudités - baby carrots, baby cucumber, radish and baby courgettes served with roast garlic mayonnaise

Cheese straws

Asparagus with hollandaise to dip

Quail scotch eggs with caper mayonnaise

Quiche

Rabbit pie with pickled shallots

Chicken and ham pie with pickled walnuts

 

Any two pots: 

Potted shrimps | Mackerel pâté | Jellied ham, parsley and pickles | Pork pâté

 

Any two salads: 

Broad beans and peas with garden lettuce

Baby tomatoes, shallots, parsley and mustard dressing

Jersey royals and salad of pickles

Lobster with new potatoes and asparagus with a lemon vinaigrette

 

Any two desserts: 

Gooseberry fool

Summer pudding with clotted cream

Strawberries and cream

Kentish cherries

 

Vegetarian hampers are available upon request. 

 

Hampers can be ordered at the time of reservation or on arrival. Alternatively, order a hamper over the phone for delivery in London. A delivery charge will be incurred for this service.
